what a treasure we have here on the west side of bloomington and i've driven by it so many times i couldn't count them all. today i decided i wasn't going to drive by it once more without stopping into Ale's Ice Cream Shop. the owner Zack was so nice and happens to be a lifelong resident of the west side. we chatted for awhile and he served me a healthy scoop of delicious brownie ice cream in a homemade waffle cone that you have to try to believe! they are open year round and have more choices than i can get in to here. please give this family business a try, you will not be disappointed. conveniently located beside the fifth third bank at 309 south hickory dr. bloomington
